Privacy at Mysh
We built Mysh for our own kids first. Here's plain English on what we collect, what we don't, and who sees it.
Last updated: April 2026
The short version
- No ads. We don't sell your data. We don't run advertising.
- No stranger matching. Kids play with family only, using a private play code.
- Parents sign in, kids don't. We collect a parent email for login. We don't ask kids for their real names, emails, or identifying info.
- We store only what the game needs to save your progress, generate story art, and send the occasional re-engagement email.
What we collect
From parents (account holders)
- Your email address, so we can send you a magic sign-in link.
- The language you use Mysh in.
- Technical info about your device + a rough location (from IP) for diagnostics.
From your gameplay
- Hero names, descriptions, and voices your family chose for their characters.
- The story content you and your kids create together: player actions, AI narration, and the choices you make.
- Scene images and character portraits we generate from your story.
- Game progress (which turn you're on, which quest is active).
What we don't collect
- We don't ask for or store kids' real names, ages, addresses, or phone numbers.
- We don't collect payment info. Mysh is free.
- We don't track you across the web with advertising pixels.
- We don't sell your data to data brokers.
Who we share it with
Mysh runs on the Feel Engine, the Feel Good Interactive technology stack behind our products. It brings together a small set of vetted third-party services that handle things like hosting, AI story generation, voice, image generation, email delivery, and anonymous product analytics. None of them receive your data for advertising purposes; they only see what's needed to do their job. If you'd like specifics about a particular partner, email us and we'll share details.
A note on kids' data
Mysh is designed for ages 7–12, played with a parent or caregiver. Accounts belong to parents, not kids. We don't ask for or store a kid's real name, age, address, phone number, or any other identifying info. Hero names, descriptions, and story content are creative choices a kid makes for their character.
We're an early-stage product and we're still formalizing our children's-privacy practices. If you're a parent who'd like us to remove any information associated with your family's game, or you have questions about what we store, email us at inquiries@feelgoodinteractive.com and a real human will respond.
Retention
We don't have a formal retention policy yet. For now, we keep your game data for as long as your account is active so your stories, heroes, and progress stay there when you come back. If you'd like your data deleted, email us at inquiries@feelgoodinteractive.com and we'll remove it. We'll update this page once we've set clearer retention windows.
Email from us
We may email you re-engagement nudges (stories waiting for you, a personal note from Lauren) after you've created a game. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing only stops email; it doesn't delete your game.
Your choices
- Access or delete your data: email inquiries@feelgoodinteractive.com and we'll respond within two business days.
- Unsubscribe from emails: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.
- Stop using Mysh: just stop signing in. Let us know if you want your data deleted at the same time.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we'll update this page and email registered parents. Minor clarifications we'll just update in place.
