Safety at Mysh
How we keep family storytime safe, age-appropriate, and free of the stuff parents don't want in their kids' screen time.
Family-only play
Mysh is built for parents and kids to play together. We don't match kids with random players. Each family gets a private play code, and only people the parent shares it with can join the session. There are no open lobbies, no chat with strangers, and no multiplayer outside the people you invite.
AI content safety
Every player input passes through a content moderation layer before the AI writes the next beat of the story. We check for:
- Violence and graphic content
- Self-harm references
- Sexual content or romantic pressure
- Hostility or hate speech
If a player input or a generated story beat trips a filter, it's blocked before it reaches the page. You'll see a gentle "try different words" nudge instead.
No ads, no purchases
We don't show ads. We don't sell gems, coins, boosts, skins, or any in-app purchases. You'll never see a "watch an ad to continue" pattern, a paywall mid-story, or a manipulative timer. Mysh is free.
Privacy-first design
We collect only what's needed to run the game. Kids never get their own accounts, and we don't ask for their real names or contact info. Parents sign in by email; that's the only identifier we need. See our Privacy page for the full breakdown.
Screen time with substance
Parents tell us Mysh is the screen time they actually feel good about. Kids read the narration, decide what their heroes do next, and negotiate story choices with a parent or sibling. Reading, imagination, and collaborative decision-making are baked into every session.
Age range
Mysh is designed for ages 7–12. Content is tuned for that range: vocabulary that stretches without frustrating, emotional stakes without distressing themes, adventure without graphic violence. A parent plays alongside in every session, so there's always an adult in the loop.
Reporting something
If a generated scene feels off, a moderation miss slips through, or you see anything that concerns you, please tell us. Email inquiries@feelgoodinteractive.com with a quick description and we'll look into it quickly. A real human reads every safety report.
